Indonesian National Police Brigadier General Royke Lumowa M.M., is known as one of Indonesian National Police’s high ranking officer. Born in Makassar on September 16, 1962; he is now Chief and Commanding Officer of the Indonesian National Police Office supervising, serving, and protecting the entire Province of West Papua.
In conjunction with his main and official duty to serve and protect, Mr Lumowa had also dedicated his services towards the environment of Raja Ampat by being a certified diver himself, he also took part in Raja Ampat’s conservancy and protection, as well as promotional efforts.
By supervising and supporting the R4 West Papua Photo Contest, Mr Lumowa is setting a higher standard and goals in promoting the region both to domestic and the international commercial divers, photo enthusiasts, and island hoppers to explore and protect the beauty of Raja Ampat, West Papua of Indonesia.
As of our 3rd Year of Event, The Founder had respectively passed on the baton to his successor to another high profile personality and one of the most decorated and respected High Ranking Officer of the Indonesian National Police. Drs. Martuani Sormin, M.Si (Police Brigadier General) is the current Chief of the Indonesian National Police Office for the West Papua Region which oversees the Raja Ampat Regency. Following his respected predecessor, Mr Martuani is fully committed in taking part in the effort of conservation and preservation of natural resources of the West Papua Region both on land and underwater.
